Our teacher was fantastic! He had just had both knees replaced recently and he was skiing. Can you believe that? He was actually more able to get around on skis that he was just walking. Crazy!
By the time we left the skiing mountain, I was losing my voice. It was nearly completely gone by dinner, which we ate in this grand room. The resort we stayed at was super-nice!
This is just a weird tree that I found on the resort property that has this pipe growing out of it. It might just be the fountain of youth everyone has been looking for. Or maybe it's a maple syrup tap. hm... We should have tried it.
We fell to the temptation of Blake's Lotaburger. Interesting advertising, isn't it?
We had to go see the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge about 12 miles North of Taos. We bought a newspaper from a local who recommended it. He said it was very amazing, and, "If you get sick of life, you just jump." Wow... what great advice from the locals! But he did say it was like 600 feet down. I'd have to look it up to be sure, but definitely did freak me out while we walked across.
