"Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you; and ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ, that I am the Son of the living God, that I was, that I am, and that I am to come."

New Year's Eve

We spent New Year's Eve with some friends which was super fun. We played games and ate and ate and ate. They had invited a few other couples over and no one else made it. So we had PLENTY of food - which I'm ok with. :D

James and I were in charge of "something sweet" for snacks and so we have started a new tradition in the Harper household. This is a picture of the year 1 results of our annual donut hole making on New Year's Eve. These donut holes are pumpkin and rolled in sugar and let me tell you - they are AMAZING! Mom, the recipe came from the Taste of Home book you gave me for Christmas. Very nice. We'll make them for you next year. You see, when you add things like pumpkin to a recipe like this, it suddenly falls in the healthy-feel-free-to-overindulge category of foods. Yep.

And we also made Cheesecake. :D YUM!
