Long Island beach

We made it to the beach once this summer with some good friends on Long Island. We LOVED the beach! We haven't been very often in our lives being that we are from Kansas (smack-dab in the middle of the US) and New Mexico (no water for miles and miles and miles). What I didn't love was digging sand out of my ears for a week afterward but I suppose that is mostly my fault for being the ignorant tourist and getting bowled over by the waves a few times. I didn't drown though! Success story right there!

This was also Abi's first time getting in the ocean! Yay, Abi!
