Museum of Natural History

We spent a Saturday in May in NYC to see the Museum of Natural History. We figure it would be like going to the zoo but better since the animals are close and hold still so you can get a good look. (I am imagining how that probably sounds to radical animal-lovers...) Haha. Hm... So, anyway, we loved it! Abi loved getting to run around and lead the way. We actually ended up spending our entire alotted time on the fossil floor - 4 hours! It was so amazing, but in case anyone else wants to visit this museum, there are at least three other floors! So, plan plenty of time.

This guy cracked me up! I was reading his sign and finally looked up to get a good look at him and realized his face was right in my face! It kind of scared me and then made me laugh. And then I found his friend! And then my comical and slightly warped mind started seeing these two as one turtle before and after getting dressed. :)
