James and I made cards for our mothers, grandmothers and Abi's birth mother for Mother's Day and Birth Mother's Day this year which happen on the same weekend - Sunday and Saturday respectively. It was definitely a two-man job getting Abi's handprints on these cards. She really would have rather eaten the cards than painted on them.
She loved getting to hold the card! What a special privilege she isn't usually offered since she usually eats paper. In fact, she basically ate my Patriarchal Blessing and I had to order a new one. How sad! It lasted almost 14 years before it became the first Abi-casualty.
