"Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you; and ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ, that I am the Son of the living God, that I was, that I am, and that I am to come."

Thanksgiving Secret That Will Change Your Life

There are some things in life that don't work super well but we keep doing them the same each time anyway because that's just the way we do it, right? And then after many, many repetitions, someone comes along and changes the system in a very simple, yet earth shattering way. You've probably experienced this with a cooking or cleaning technique. Some genius suddenly changes your whole perspective on hulling strawberries or getting stains out of car seats...

That's how Thanksgiving was this year. I have had 20+ rememberful Thanksgivings and each year I struggle with where to put everything on the plate because I have a gravy issue. Most of the food needs gravy but some shouldn't even look over at the gravy to say "Hello."

Well, we had Thanksgiving dinner at James' folks' home and everyone filled their plates and sat down and James took forever filling his plate, but when he finally did, we were all jealous and embarrassed of our plates because this is why...

Why didn't I ever think about this? Of course! Put the potatoes and gravy in the middle and everything around it like a chips and dip tray. He had just discovered it too, so we didn't feel too bad but now I can't wait for next year to try out this new system.
